32Crash : Hyperreal (Limited Edition EP) [2012]

After their highly acclaimed Y2112Y album, 32Crash is ready to take on another sonic adventure. Revisiting some familiar landscapes, re-inventing some known soundscapes, altering the same reality. "Hyperreal" is a 6 track vinyl release featuring 6 exclusive remixes, again all done by 32 Crash themselves.
This time fully aimed for club-play. These remixes clearly have a very retro feel to it. But what can you expect when you know that 32 Crash is Jean-luc de Meyer (Front 242), Len Lemeire (Implant) and Jan D'Hooghe. This is a MUST HAVE for fans of EBM, vinyl and the year 2112. Limited to 300 copies!

Live video of the Belgian Electronic Body Music pioneers Front 242! This is a high quality DVD rip in AVI (XviD) format. Front 242 live is always an awesome, unforgettable experience. First time I saw them live at Lollapalooza in July 1993 and again at their headline tour in November 1993 (I took some pics of this show) in Houston, Texas.
BTW, thank you Front 242 for your innovative music without which I would have still been listening to crappy, uninventive, uninspiring, uncreative sounds called mainstream music....
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Front 242 : Headhunter [1988]

1. Headhunter (v 1.0)
2. Welcome to Paradise (v 1.0)
Headhunter is the first 242/EBM song I heard back in early 1989. At the time, I didn't know who the artist was or what genre of music it was when it was playing on the radio. All I knew was this song was different, unique, unusual, innovative, cutting edge, futuristic compared to other songs playing on the radio at the time. Released in 1988, I was really lucky to hear it early. Later on, in August 1990 a friend of mine lent me a tape which was Front 242's Never Stop! containing Headhunter v 1.0 (strangely, he called the music "new wave", but I didn't think so). The rest is history, my friend...
Enjoy!

"After years of digital "uber alles", analogue synthesis and
technology has made a comeback. Front 242 decided to re-load
their old analogue sequences into the new generation of
synthesizers and carefully re-designed all the sounds to match
the spirit of their time. The result was proposed on a worldwide
'Vintage Tour' that is still running today. To satisfy their
fans, but also the curiosity of numbers of listeners interested
in the early electronic music atmosphere ; we invite you to
discover this exceptional 'Live' recording encompassing the very
best of Front 242's compositions. Enjoy "Moments..." - a
Snapshot of 242's live sound.
This 1CD version holds holding 4 tracks in alternative versions
not featured on the 2CD box edition."

This is the FIRST band that officially introduced me to the innovative world of EBM/Industrial back in September 1990. One of the true innovators of hard electronics with their trademark sequenced, appregiated EBM bassline which was one thing that I noticed when I first heard "Headhunter" and its sequenced scraping metallic sound on the radio back then. Highly innovative, incredible and futuristic song with no match in the late 80's/early 90's.
At the time, I had such good moments....
(along with that amazing, cute girl......)
claro...

Front 242 : Geography

Remastered first album by EBM pioneers FRONT 242! It sounds like Kraftwerk who were the Frontmen's early influence in the early 80's. The song "Kampfbereit" was the one which bassline style they developed further to be their trademark EBM bassline in the following albums. FYI, the original Wax Track! cassette was one of the first stuff that I bought from them back in September 1990. What a memory.....
