There are many ways one might describe Ah Cama-Sotz. Electronic, ambient, atmospheric, and experimental are just a few. But, the music is more than its sound. It is the mood and emotion the music evokes. Klapholz 's earlier works were quite rhythmic and broke into ritualistic ambient. As the music evolved and changed over time, it continued down its dark path and became even more doomy and haunting. Themes continue to deal with some very heavy issues, and touch on the dark side of mankind. The ugly side of religion, death, plagues and war. It is the stuff mankind is constantly causing and fighting at the same time. In ten tracks Ah Cama-Sotz tells a story of a journey; How your inner soul is transported into another dimension. Events on this journey include a certain 'Sacrifice' as instructed by 'Voices From The Dark', a visit to 'Warszawa' and — albeit from a distance — watch the 'Decline Of The Roman Empire'.

And like a true journey, the view out the window is gorgeous. Varied and dynamic as we have gotten to know the talent of our tour-conductor. There are moments of deep dub with heavily distorted guitars, ambient neo-classical soundscapes, Arabian as well as ritualistic influences. Camanecroszcope : Echoes Ov Who Lieth Dead But Ever Dreameth [2003]

An extensive masterpiece is the right description for this album. Dark in the best CMI industrial/ soundscape tradition, but then on the Belgian Spectre label. The combined forces of Ah Cama-Sotz and Iszoloscope is however better in writing tension filled songs than most of the CMI acts. Floating, almost choir like, voices are completed with frightening, cold, but well thought of, electro sounds. The result is a barren, demonic landscape with on the other hand a feeling of recognition and safety. Camanecroszcope does it tastefully.
