Bocksholm FREE DOWNLOAD

"Bocksholm is a collaboration between Raison d’etre's Peter Andersson and Deutsch Nepal's Peter Andersson. As mentioned in various biographies on the internet, it isn’t strange that two musicians who happen to have the same name and happen to be born in the same city get their heads together to make music. Bocksholm is the product of this collaboration and all music by Bocksholm is about the city of Boxholm in Sweden. This industrial city wasn’t the best place to grow up in as a child and this release is themed by that issue."

Desiderii Marginis FREE DOWNLOAD

Another great dark ambient artist from Cold Meat Industry label. Desiderii Marginis was formed in 1993 and is the spawn and emotional outlet of Johan Levin, who is also the sole member. The musical hallmark of this act can best be described as eerie dark ambient, often on an almost epical scale, sadness in its splendor. These things are also the subject matter of Desiderii Marginis’ songs in general -’That which is tragic and timeless’,
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Mlada Fronta : Oxydes + Remixes [2002]

"hypnotic drill&bass, broken technoid rhythms overlaid with distant strings, polished ambience growing into compressed distorted patterns - the completeness of this work really puts it as a next step in the genre; granted, these motives were present for quite a long time in many works, but no one was able to express them with such force before."

Xingu Hill : Fiction [1996]

"most of the tracks are very unique in their blend of unusual composition and solid atmosphere. it truly matches the feeling created by earlier seekness or delta files, at the same time using elements from a whole different genre. this album is spacey yet edgy late night escapism into the surreal world of stripped-down melodies, fading broadcasts and deep basslines."

Xingu Hill : Maps of the Impossible [1995]

"slowly developing aural masses and rich ambient passages (no matter how long they are, those atmospheric introductions are never boring) move into groovy bass textures that roll over the traces of long gone civilizations. carefully blended hydraulics, deep sub-bass crashes and dark organic swells reminded me of outlandish moods build by early seekness, sephiroth, and (surprise, surprise!) delta files."
